Randy I fabricated one similar to your Puller to remove hands from an Atmos Clock. They wanted $35 .00for one . I made mine from a 1 " C clamp yours is cool? Thanks Roy. It great with lanterns. Some lamps do not have enough stem protruding to use this tool so you are on your own. In the end, necess...

Re: What brand and/or type brazing rod?

A piece of advice for the stove... Grab a beater 425 and use it to heat up your parts. Dull red is good. Do your welding right on the stove while it's running! When you are done wait about 10 minutes and turn the stove down a little. Do this for about an hour in 10 minute increments untill you are ...

Re: What brand and/or type brazing rod?

Slow cool is critical. Maybe get a BIG bag of vermiculite and dump your CI in there to cool. Do you have a metal cooler you could put the vermiculite in? Even a cardboard box. I think you need a Cu Ft or two of vermiculite to use. Maybe only one for that small grate. Also, silver solder, or hard sol...

Nulite torchlite single. Cool score. Great parts to help save other lanterns even if there is a catastrophic loss somewhere in the system. At $5, you stole it. Not a huge high dollar win, but probably a 100YO lantern that can make light.
