i just dont know how many molds were made of a specific type , but im sure some variation is to be expected ..... does Darcy mention smooth ? ill have to look over my book again now .

huh ? i can see the 324 lines from here Kevin !!! above the band not thru it .......ok , some molds got more use than others and the lines may not all be as crisp , but there there .

maybe you can see the lines better here Dan , double click this pic . i think there are 4 sets of these lines .

some sure got different colors of paint , some lighter , some darker , but still original . this shade hasent been repo'd .

i dis-agree Dan , the lines continue from top to bottom of the bulge , not smooth ....

the captive pump cup is only captive to itself . that is to say it floats on the pump shaft and is not supposed to be held snug , on the up stroke the cup moves down the shaft a bit allowing air to enter , then on the down stroke the cup moves back and snugs to the stem capturing the air and pushing...

ya know when you get a shot today they have these dispensers on the wall to put the dangerous hazardous materials into to dispose the syringe ? well these were more like kitchen trash can size , filled with thousands n thousands at each station , wish i had snapped a pic of that !!!!!

could just be the placebo effect ? but inside mentally i feel much better knowing i got em . they give you a little vaccine card with vaccine type n lot number sticker on it for each shot .... kinda proud of that card myself .

got my second vaccine today . they said there dosing out 1000 to 1500 a day at this place . felt a little too close to others at times , it was pretty busy/crowded ...worse than Costco !!!

nice , what i sell is intended for the USA lanterns ? the canadian shaft is tapered so the cup assembly needs a bit of hand fileing to match the taper . the USA shaft is straight without the taper . im making another batch of those today

the mantle hole could be too much pressure at start up . low pressure start works best , with no burner screen that needle fine spray can take out a mantle . untill its hot enough to just vaporize .

i got an old lantern once with a safe on the bottom , i had a heck of a time getting that safe off and when i did it pee'd on me . it was holding rust water inside !!! soggy silk lites dried out n worked fine but really made me think twice about using safes .

you have to take the genny off to prick it , so i go one step further n remove the tip so i can prick it from the inside n PUSH the blockage out instead of back in . its much easier as there is like a cone to guide the wire in from the inside

the problem i have here is , the bottom looks clean ? so did this start from the inside and work itself out ? and your just seeing the tip,of the iceberg or ? its all on the stamped letters , so can ya look inside ?

sometimes after a good cleaning , when you fire it up the inside of the burner tubes gets "scale" that fall off n partialy block the burner screens resulting in similar looking mantles ....
