@adkbill, be careful with that MSR pump, check for cracks by the valve knob where it screws into the pump. Duane I agree, the yellow pumps were much better. This will be my first SS pump from MSR. I have one in a stove kit distributed by a non-profit humanitarian aid society, but have yet to use it.

Have you actually used it?
Are you able to see enough of the burner to control the flame.
I am a little surprised the stack is that high.
Not sure what you mean when you say the top screws need to be tightened down.
They look pretty flush. Are they stripped?
