Re: Generator Transfer

I’ve a related question that I think fits, more or less. I’ve a Honda generator that is large enough to power an RV electric heater, as well as a small AC unit. Ordinarily, these are run by “shore power”, 30 or 50 amp capable 3 or 4 prong twist-loc electrical connectors. OK. But the generator outpu...

So, LJ, I disassembled my first 247 this evening, and found a gen just like yours with the aluminum coil. Is this a 201 gen? Direct replacement for the 247 gen? 247 used TK66 generators but 201 came with the 201b5891 Yes, the 242K289 and the TK66 are the older original generator numbers. Those woul...

It’s not the direction stickers that would be hiding the stamp. The stamping would/should be located behind the Coleman sticker you show above.

Regardless of what you end up using for a packing, the brass screen at the tip can be tossed.

You run a very high risk of ruining the tip cleaner wire if you leave it in place.

Yes, I always leave feedback.

Typically it’s just generic feedback. However, if a seller was especially good to work with like, being receptive to a special packing request or quick to respond to questions, I feel it’s worth noting.
