Re: Generator Transfer
I’ve a related question that I think fits, more or less. I’ve a Honda generator that is large enough to power an RV electric heater, as well as a small AC unit. Ordinarily, these are run by “shore power”, 30 or 50 amp capable 3 or 4 prong twist-loc electrical connectors. OK. But the generator outpu...

Re: Cleaning newer 201 generators?
So, LJ, I disassembled my first 247 this evening, and found a gen just like yours with the aluminum coil. Is this a 201 gen? Direct replacement for the 247 gen? 247 used TK66 generators but 201 came with the 201b5891 Yes, the 242K289 and the TK66 are the older original generator numbers. Those woul...

Cleaning newer 201 generators?
I noticed my 247 wasn’t running as bright the other day and it needs more spinning of the tip cleaner lately. So, I pulled the generator and it’s a little coked up. I run some percentage of an Amish mix. https://i.postimg.cc/R0Fxt7fx/IMG-3836.jpg I was thinking I’d toss everything in my US cleaner w...

It’s not the direction stickers that would be hiding the stamp. The stamping would/should be located behind the Coleman sticker you show above.
I’ve never seen one like that on an M1950.

I like that little torch. Squatty but cute! Should be a Lenk brand and yes, gasoline fueled. I run CF (Crown ‘cause it’s clear) in mine. You can tell it’s gas by the two rows of air holes in the burner. The alcohol burners had three rows of air holes. As mentioned you can preheat with CF but denatur...

Regardless of what you end up using for a packing, the brass screen at the tip can be tossed.
You run a very high risk of ruining the tip cleaner wire if you leave it in place.

From available pics of 200A lanterns, the "Patents Pending" line on the decal was out as early as '64 and had gone away, or was going away, by 1-'71. Not sure of the exact month it changed, or if there was a transition period. All other characteristics present as well.

Yes, I always leave feedback.
Typically it’s just generic feedback. However, if a seller was especially good to work with like, being receptive to a special packing request or quick to respond to questions, I feel it’s worth noting.
