Can anyone here tell me if the decal for the AGM 2572 built for the military is available anywhere? I know the maroon/burgundy 2572 used a red rectangular decal placed on the fount below the fuel valve though I don't know what it reads.

1948 to about 1950 with the 4821A being made up until at least 1952. That is the latest date I have found going by the print date of a copy of a directions manual(11/52).

The 4500 series were 1945-1947.

The L-43 and its Sears/Wards counterparts were made from 1936 until early 1942 when PW switched over to wartime production. No lanterns were made after the war, only campstoves and house appliances with the campstoves ending around 1952, give or take a year

Norm: I presume this is a kitchen stove you are talking about. If so, I believe it is a 1934 model. It doesn't appear in my '33 and '35 catalogues. Unfortunately, I've misplaced my '34 catalogue. Hopefully, ChrisA50 will chime in as I believe he does have a copy of that year.

Yes, that is what the previous owner did. That burner cage is L-47.

L-14, L-14A & L-44 didn't have side supports on their burner cages. But your fount is definitely L-14.

FYI Mike: Your lantern is a 1936 model. One year only for that specific model. L-14 is 1933-34, L-14A is 1935 while the L-47 was 1937 until 1941-2 when PW switched over to wartime production. No lanterns made after WWII.
