Re: Unusual lanterns lamps
I was able to buy this from another collector a while, back. Model 858 Double Drop propane fixture. My understanding is that, it is part of a failed Propane product line from the 1930s. I dunno about "failed", they (that line, not that exact model) were produced from at least 1930 until 1941, possi...

Hit up on estate yesterday. I was really excited when I spotted the 222. Unfortunately, when I open the box, it was only full of random crap. I got it anyway. First time I’ve come across one of these boat clamps. It was cheap, so I got it too. I’ll throw it on the pile of Lantern hangers, tripods, r...

Those are shinier than any NOS ones I have found though a did buy a few of those from OCP a couple years back. They seem to discolor differently than other NOS ones, they kind of "rainbow" discolor Some of them are really shiny and have plated threads and the other ones are slightly longer, have a ...

Does anybody know what model these nickel plated burner tubes would go on?
I’ve never heard of nickel plated tubes on a Lantern. Is there a particular lamp that would’ve use these, or did somebody just nickel plate them for fun?
Thanks

Yep. When I see something I want at a great price I will message that “I will buy it for the asking price and when can I pick it up”. The guy that did get it was taking his chances by dickering over $10. Don’t ever give a seller a reason to move on to the next guy.
