Annual collectors' meet in Switzerland 2021

#1

Post by Erwin »

Hi fellas.
After the Covid bans have been lifted some and most folks ae fully vaccinated by now we finally had the chance to have another collectors' meet at the hut on the lakeside in Switzerland again. :P
It was nice to see many friends again and we had a great time in very good mood as always. :)
There was joint cooking, eating and fettling but there was also some time to explore the beautiful countryside.
I also checked a couple of antique stores again but only got a rare spare globe and a bag of special mantles. All the GPA's seem to get rarer and rarer.
Anyway, I've made a couple of pictures which you can view here:

Have fun. :)
Erwin.

Looks like all had a great time Erwin. Thanks for posting the pics.

That's really cool about the Sherlock Holmes museum. I never knew such a thing existed.

My pleasure fellas.
This is one of the must-go-to meets.
The time is right also. Not hot anymore but usually nice weather and sometimes even some fresh snow on the mountain tops. :P

Pic from last year. When i bought cheese on the alp on mountain top , right from fridge at the stable where it was produced from the milk of the cows living on the mountain green.
Snow fell the night before....

This year no snow. Warm sunshine instead.
