Lewiston Idaho Gathering

The spring 2023 Lewiston Idaho gathering for Pacific Northwest Coleman Collectors will be held May 6 at Hells Gate State Park on the Snake River, just five miles south of Lewiston. We have a covered picnic area reserved (but it will be sunny and warm) that has a table, a charcoal grill and close in parking, shelter # S-3. Of course, you may conveniently park your boat on the beach to attend and avoid the vehicle fee to enter the park, however, if you insist on driving the park has a day use fee, per vehicle, of $7 for Idaho Plates and $14 for out of state plates. But don't let that entry fee deter you, as we will gladly cover that cost for you if you cannot afford it. Just send me a private message and we will make arrangements.
This will be a short, one day affair starting at 11 AM and ending at 3 PM. A lunch of hot dogs will be served and feel free to bring any accompaniments. Beverages are BYOB. As noted there is a charcoal grill on site. Bring your favorite comfy camp chair if you wish, as picnic tables can be tough on one's derierre.
It will be great to see all the local collectors, as well as those that will be traveling from afar. Camping is available at this state park and there is plenty of alternative lodging around Lewiston (Google is your friend). There a great deal to see in the area, as well as a lot of history, so plan to spend some time to explore.
Lastly, RSVP if you can so we have an idea of attendance. It would be nice also if we could come to a group consensus for a larger gathering later in the summer or fall and what will it consist of. Don't forget to bring some trade items, and above all have fun and enjoy the company of others whom are inflicted with the Coleman bug.
Hope to see you there...!
