Wanted! Coleman replacement decals- ORDERED ONE

#1

Post by BryanWP »

Hey all. Looking for a place to obtain replacement decals when needed for my Coleman stove restorations.
I'm presently looking for a rear decal for my Coleman 426D 1966 restoration, and have included a photo of the original one.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

I did too, just make sure the spelling on the decal is correct. The listing I saw had misspelt words on the decal.

Not quite it. The word complete is spelled "completer", and it says "patented" rather than patent pending. If the word complete was spelled properly it could have been a reasonable substitute.
I do appreciate your reply though Russ.
Thanks,

Yeah that’s the one and word I was talking about.

Side note- I think one of our members bought this decal and it was actually spelt correctly.

Okay, maybe a person trying to avoid a lawsuit? I would use it and if anyone that tries to read it carefully, hit them over the head with your skillet..😳😜😂..Seriously, ask the seller to change the wording to original? Worth a shot..Russ

For the record, I ordered the decal on ebay, and though it (the word complete) is not spelled correctly in the photo online, it arrived today and is spelled correctly.
Looks like a worthy replacement when the original is either missing or too destroed to save!
Thanks for the advice to all.
