The Coleman Collectors Forum The best information regarding Coleman stoves, lanterns and other gas pressured appliances!
Uncle Sidney ~~ Prison Philosopher Says: "Some people will only like you if you fit inside their box. Don’t be afraid to tell them where to shove that box!"
Title should include: for sale, or for trade or wanted to buy. Pricing can be Buy it Now (BIN), Make Offer, or use both. Listing for 30 days or until cancelled by seller. One or more photos of each item. No Ebay Items. Caveat emptor & Caveat venditor.
I am looking for a vent nut or two that will fit an earlier AGM lantern. These are roughly 1/4”, and have a very fine thread pattern as was seen in models:
267, 268
277, 278
287,288.
If anyone knew this thread pitch, that would also be helpful. I have at least two lanterns in need so if you have a couple they would be put to good use. Thank You!
Regards,
Randy

Just took a thread gauge to one of mine, it's a 32 TPI
Thanks Bud. Now I know what to look for. Hopefully a couple show up here. I know someone has a drawer full.

1/4-32. Same thread as a Coleman Check valve stem. They were closed on top. and had an asbestos faced aluminum washer under them. sorry I don't have any spares as I am still looking for them too.

Update: Still Looking.
Dan. I think we may be down to just having some made. Im speaking with a machinist now and sent some pics and dimensions. Check back here in a while and we will see if this gets off the ground. Would you be interested in any if these get fabricated? They wont be cheap, but should look pretty close to original.

I would also be interested in a few. Keep me updated please
Dan, Jeremy- You got it. I will let ya know what I hear. In FB Jail at the moment so a little slow communicating on that side thanks to my pal Zuckerturd. FWIW, I have some smaples coming from the Eastern US, but not sure if that machinist is willing to produce in any quantity. Another machinist is working on it, and will ikely be able to fill a small size order for a few guys. What would be awesome is if someone here knew a guy with a screw machine. That would be the best option for a reasonable price on enough quantity to keep everyone happy.
