WTB - Preheat Cup Steel Clip for a 247. One off a 249 should also fit.

247 and 249 clips are not the same size.

i can tall ya , either one is super hard to find . but ya , a 249 clip wont fit a 247 . kinda best to improvise till ya can find one . cuz its gona take a while . there is a thread showing how i made some that look darn near original .... using craftsman socket clip holder thingys .

The 247 clip is a smaller diameter than the 249 clip, as the air tube of the 249, which the clip is attached to, is a slightly larger diameter than the one on the 247.
Also, the 247 clip is the same type as was used on the Canadian 242K, which is quite different to the 249clip.
And to complicate things further Coleman Canada used a different split wire type clip for their later 247 CPR lanterns, called 247R.
Here is a picture of the 247 and 249 clips. The 247 clip is on the left hand side.
If you have a 247 Scout then that is the one you require.
