Wtb agm 3705 gear cleaning lever

Changed the title. Looking for the cleaning lever that has the gear on the end (or atleast I assume it does as the generator is geared) The generator cleaning lever is broken on mine. One of the members here mentioned a model 100 possibly would work as well. Thanks.

I got lucky and found needed parts from a stress cracked model 100 off the bay. Good luck.

I know very little about the agm’s. This one has the slightly down canted valve. I will start looking on that site. Thanks.

Other models have parts, but you are correct about the unique valve.
I bought a second 3705 to get parts, but ended up buying a 100 also to get the second 3705 complete. Turned out I have two running lanterns with different, original colors. May be what you will need to do.

Again appreciate it. I am fixing to go in to work in a few. The lantern is out in the shop in pieces. Will get some photos on as soon as I can. That’s has always been my problem about buying parts lanterns. Satisfying to make them not parts lanterns. I have four lanterns that are definitely parts due to bad founts. But they’re again always want to try and bring them back especially since one is a Christmas. Oh well I ramble. Coffee hasn’t kicked in

It looked good and was the right price but when I tore it down I found that the cleaning lever had the gear broken off and missing.

Same as mine, lever just spun. I think the seller wasn't honest as to condition, as I looked at some of his past sales and he had knowledgeable info on other stoves. I can get a pic of the valve in profile in a bit.

Which other models use the same cleaning lever setup?

At least the usually stress cracked 100. Running 3705, cracked 100 for similar valve style but not angled.

So all the agms have the geared cleaning lever set up?

No. You may have to do like me and buy a bunch, many are much cooler than Coleman lanterns. A good percentage have stress cracks.

AGM would be the ticket then. My parts 100 was more than the 3705 I needed parts for. A rabbit hole for sure. Check out Terry Marsh's site for sometimes better pics of models and a little description if you have not visited there yet.

Don't think that will work, uses a e-block? Look at my 100 valve, pricker lever assembly is offset.
