Here is my favorite lantern; the 1987 Coleman Powerhouse with the limited edition deluxe bulge globe. The painted fount is deep green. This 290A was sold in celebration of Coleman's 40 millionth lantern. I bought it new in 1987 with the displayed paperwork.

I really like that globe on it! I have an inbox 1986 290-700 with the straight globe. It is near mint, almost no rim rash, very little blackening on the tubes or genny, and just a tiny spot of corrosion on the burner frame by the bodynut where a moth body was when I first got it. I paid a whopping $1 for it last year and it had only been fired a couple of times- the owner got rid of it bacause they took it out of storage after 34 years and the packing around the valve seal was leaking. It took 30 seconds for me to tighten.
