5415-5561 Regulator and hose assembly
5415-5561 Regulator and hose assembly
Hello community,
I have been gifted a two-burner stove (Canadian model 5423-701). It's in a great shape, but missing the regulator and hose. Owner's guide lists them as parts 5415-5561, with a 5445-1341 valve core.
My question: I looked around on eBay and Amazon and the fitting size (the one that attaches to the stove) seems to be the critical part, as it is quite rare, and often confused with 5430-compatible models (which are smaller).
Any of you have one by any chance, or knows what could be a workaround part (adaptor?) that could suit my needs?
Thanks in advance for any leads!

I'm looking for one for a primus stove that is sentimental to my mother in law with the same frustration as you. I'm thinking that the next beater propane stove that I find is going to be a parts donor and the fittings soldered into the old primus. You might consider the same.

You might want to post a picture of the stove and the hose connection to your stove..Russ

What part of it? To me yours looks more similar to mine than John's.
Re: 5415-5561 Regulator and hose assembly
The regulator, mine is for a heater so the hose is shorter and the regulator is different.. Russ

Re: 5415-5561 Regulator and hose assembly
Right. Isn't the regulator part fine, as long as it can take a 1lb propane bottle? The way I understood it, the end that connects to the stove is the tricky part, do you think it would fit the stove?
(Thanks again, this is so appreciated)

Yes, stove hoses are usually longer than the heaters. I’m sure it is the same as yours at the appliance connection. How does &20 plus the ride sound? I live in Missouri..Russ
