508 stove leaking fuel
I have a Coleman model 508 stove, 3-90, that has a slight fuel leak at the flame adjustment lever. The leak is where the lever meets the packing nut. I have the nut tightened to the max. Can, or should, that nut be removed so that I could add more packing? I realize the lever is hooked up to a cable or something in the gen. I'm writing this text by the light of a 1939 243A that I recently fettled. That's working fine.
