Canadian 200 valve bodies

#1

Post by bdickson »

Today I was cleaning up some old founts from a parts box and found a 200 Red. The valve body is not flat but round. There are no stamps on the fount to determine date and was wondering if anyone knows when these valve bodies were used or discontinued.
Sorry, but it's "Zed" not "Zee" for Z and a lot of "our" words end in "our" not "or" it's a Canadian thing. Eh!

If it's a red Canadian 200 fount, the undated ones showed up in the late 60s. I think 1967 specifically.

I've got one (undated red 200) Shane if you want I can dig it out and answer any questions you may have. Conventional wisdom says they were made between Nov 66 and Dec 67.
