Are you starting from scratch? Or reshaping an existing one?

I suspect you'll come up a bit short.

Should be easy to find one in the classified section. Plenty of rusted out frames out there.

okay thanks everyone;
Its' a 220 K that I want to bless with a big hat. Yeah Jim the swing out to accommodate the big hat takes up some real-estate like 6 inches. So a 220 bale 24.5" Big hat 30.5" re-shaping the 220 bale would leave burn marks from the ball nut on my wife's fingers LOL.
I guess it's just a 220K who cares if it has a couple cotter pins in the handle. Lets see if I win the bid on the big hat vent that's for sale - if I do I'll be back asking you all to take a look through your spare bales :-)

You're still new here and may not realize it, but if you don't win it, the classifieds here are a really good avenue to pursue parts, and certainly our host oldcolemanparts.com

Thanks fellas I agree, I will keep checking classified and Old Coleman parts. I like doing business with Mike I just ordered and received some nice valve stem packings from him.
