Good evening/Good morning Coleman Collectors! My question is how do I upload photos on this Coleman Collectors Forum? I came across a Kerosene Coleman Lantern that I believe is from 1928 through 1938, but not sure. I have never seen a Coleman Lantern like this one. Very interesting lantern. Would appreciate your help with my research on my lantern. Thank you in advance with helping me out on to upload photos. I am not computer saavy...

Hello Coleman Collectors! Recently I purchased this Coleman lantern and I am not sure what year this could be. I’m thinking could possibly be from 1928 -1938??? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Nice 220 slant lantern. Called a slant based on the way the generator is positioned. Coleman dating during that period would make your lantern dated September 1928. The glass globe is from much later. Looks like a nice one, Congrats!

Very nice lantern, I am still looking for one like that. I sure hope you get it cleaned up and running and post some pictures of it then.

Nice "slantern" (slant + lantern="slantern" :) ) That'll clean up nicely, UTL!
By the way, you mentioned it was kerosene, but it's actually a gasoline lantern, so you can use CF (Coleman fuel) in it, or Crown, if that's cheaper or more easily obtained in your area.

Thank you Gasman64! The gentleman that I purchased the Coleman Lantern mentioned that the lantern is kerosene. I will be cleaning and overhauling as much as I possibly can very soon. Will definitely use Coleman fuel. I will post photos. Thanks again for the information!
