JefF do you know what year.that improved model R came from? Do you have that in hard copy?



Very interesting that they put the model R burner on a different tank than I have seen before. I don't think an example known like the one in the advertising.

Jeff, after enjoying this thread for a long time now (didn't want to interrupt), I must thank you for the seemingly endless posts of the great old advertisements. I enjoy them so much, and truly appreciate them.

I've seen the term "makes it's own gas" used a few times in the old adverts....what do they mean?
She was only a moonshiner's daughter, but I loved her still.

I keep my tools sharp...but my mind sharper!

Converting the liquid fuel to a gas state I believe.
