621A 621B rebuild

#1

Post by Farmer Brown »

Well I got these lanterns in pieces and definitely need a full rebuild and have definitely seen better days. The 621A from my last post has a Schrader valve bad “or core valve on Coleman parts website” and the 621B just has O Rings I believe. Both types of valve’s leak pressure where the generator would go so far. So I guess my question is why is the 621B leaking without a Schrader valve?

The 621B is leaking around the base of the generator?

If I understand yes. “it’s late” Anyway I did some refreshing on what I did to a 275 and a tire schrader valve is not fuel friendly. I also see OCP stopped selling valve cores. I’m sure I could go to an auto store and find a couple most likely. As for the O rings I’m assuming the blue #9 on OCP would be correct.
