I’m embracing my feminine side, just something about 100 year old hand painted glass. I’m guessing Florentine painted this one Vs. Ruth, who tended to come in to work all hung over and ended up being sloppy with the brush!

Flo and Ruth were my loving grandmas, no disrespect to them intended. Neither pulled the cork! Or painted shades.

It’s Saturday and I found another shade. Appears to be an original 317B. Gave the band a quick polish. It’s a very nice shade in person. Hopefully the pictures do it justice!

BTW the current forum settings really strip down the quality of pictures hosted. The additional compression of pictures is troubling.

Nice pairing Toby, I can see why you are wanting a 329 for that, a Canadian Custard 329 would look special. If I find one I’ll be buying it myself though! LOL

I’ve been neglecting this post.
I was fortunate to procure the bottom of this rack a couple of years ago on the forum. Someone found the sign and top shelf only and was kind enough to sell it to me.
Would love to mount this next to the Canadian rack in the living room but I think they are both destined fir the shop wall,

Because it’s snowing again, I had a mantless run on the Akron lamp and wanted to see it run on mantles. Then the 242c with a hole in the mantle needed to get back to running speed again. Then another 242c needed a run for the fun of it and then I killed the circuit breaker to douse all the lights at once to see how much light all three put out. The Akron was wearing the colander. I need more shades!

Busy day at work today, but I did manage to get this lamp cleaned this morning that I believe to be a 129(missing the decal). Slapped a Toby custom globe on and borrowed the shade from the 168K as I've got some different ideas for this one
