Thanks, lamp was given to me by a friend of my brother-in-law. I have like 3 or 4 of those, I get nostalgic when I lit them because that reminds me of my childhood. My grandmas (from both parents) used to have them when we lived of-grid and those lamps were the high end ones for us.

My grandma had a couple as well. They definitely get the job done when needed. They’ve gotten pricey at the antique stores. The lady of the house loves them and she’s got several lol!
She likes using the different colored lamp oil.

That’s a nice picture!
2twisted,
I agree with Ken. That is a cool picture. I almost bought one of those clocks on the bay. Should have. It looks neat next to that beautiful lantern.

Prefer a 228E, but not that set on it.
Because I finally completed this and got it running tonight.

Looking for my 6-56 Birthday lantern, anything 6-56!
There's been an alarming increase in the number of things I know nothing about.
The priest at church wants me to bring some lanterns Monday night for ambiance. So, for ambiance, I feel I must add a lamp. This is a 152 with a Coleman shade I've had for a long time, but never used this shade until tonight. This is a test run because I honestly don't recall ever running this lamp. The lamp came with the 355 globe and globe holder, but I don't like the look so I swapped with another lamp.

Thanks. I hope to post a write up tomorrow. It’s a pretty unique lamp.

Thanks Robert. I've gotten spoiled by lamps with built-in pumps and use the common, cheap 220 generators.
I hear that. I might try to find another cheap leacock with a 220 generator to play around with.
The lamp pictured has an R55. It works well though, just more expensive to replace.
