Sticking w my PBR, but got this tonight for my wife Amy to celebrate her b’day weekend. Took a sip. Good stuff, but not my thing. Totally her kinda beer. German Chocolate Cake - Von Schrag from our awesome local brewer.

11% abv. Good thing she’s little. Likely carrying her to bed after this. ?

Lord Hobo's Boom Sauce from Woburn (WOO-burn) Massachusetts. At 7.8% this New England born and brewed IPA sure keeps the heat on!

Oh yes, pictures aren’t too hard to delete, just sometimes I forget. I agree with Bill though. It would be much better with an easy edit feature than to fumble with the backspace. Also, I don’t use the forum for photo uploading so feel free to quote my posts. ??

That's the sense of how you feel on a sinking ship--and as long as we're using the same hosting service, we'll be throwing off stuff that gives meaning to the place. Six months from now, we'll be back exactly where we are now, looking for more stuff to trim, until there's nothing left to trim.

I tried this beer a couple of nights ago. Gatecrasher English style IPA (6.6%), by Temperance Beer Company in Evanston, Illinois. Here's a blurb from a website:

It has taken Evanston a long time to live down it's teetotaling reputation. The Woman's Christian Temperance Union has been headquartered in Evanston since 1910, and the town was dry from 1858 to 1972. I’ll add to this fantastic thread.

32oz Tin Bridge Brewing Co. Double Pineapple NEIPA, 7.2%. Tin Bridge is a local brewery that opened in Westfield Ma, a few years back. Fellow classmate of mine and his brother opened it naming it after a local railroad bridge that was a local party spot back In high school.

Made some tea from the catnip the wife planted in the spring. I found it to be like any other tea, bit more earthy with a hint of mint. Sweetened it with a little agave nectar. No bad, no purring or hallucinations or compulsion to pee in the sandbox. Not as much fun as I had hoped. Maybe next time I will mix in some bourbon?

The beer is Gumballhead. 3 Floyd's Brewing Co., Munster, Indiana. An American wheat ale brewed with white wheat and dry hopped with hand-selected hops from the Yakima Valley. Bright and refreshing with a lemony finish. 5.6%
