i got a shift kit for one of my transmissions that was whining and hard shifting sometimes and it is like brand new again so i got another one for my bonneville. i will get all my others one too as i do my transmission filter and flushes. if you have this transmission get this kit, its fun to put in but a little messy and the syrup/fluid seems to never stop flowing even when supposedly drained. its a transgo kit sk 4t65-e. drop the pan and the housing is right next to the filter, leave the center bolts in but loose and the rest out and it comes out but you have to wiggle it out of the tubes then take it apart and the kit has great instructions on spring placement and spacer placement.
