Then there is the "Stove Suitcase": that holds a stove and a couple of lanterns:

Well, not quite a suitcase; I didn't add suitcase handles - It holds a 425, a 200 and a 242 legs for converting the box to a table etc:

And the table setup, and the companion "pantry" box I made in back:

Now we're cookin' with gas! Does the tank fit inside the case? Hard to tell from this angle, on a small screen. I assume so.

Still I think Coleman had a more elegant design. I know these are simple utilitarian appliances, but there is a special somethin' somethin'. Or maybe, I'm just sentimental. Or just mental. Ha! That one could use some cleanup and paintjob, maybe. Definitely no nonsense there.
I have no idea. Join stovies anonymous on FB or MeWe, plenty of stoves there.

Cool, Pancho!

Did you cut the case and grate down? I don't see any welds.

Weld on burner and cut the original stud and replaced with longer one.

I also need to locate another latch, gonna be double latched.

A single burner suitcase with the same foot of the oven would have been great.

Ok you guys suck. I was in the garage trying to decide what suitcase stoves to keep and which ones to get rid of. I decided I didn't need my extra 413g, 413e, 425c and a roached out 426b.
Then this thread shows up. Now I'll have pack them up and find room for them in the truck. Thanks guys

Edit: the 426 is getting the hikerduane mod.

Bernzomatic made some very nice propane single burner suitcase stoves in the 50’s and 60’s.
