Walnut tool box for the workbench

#1

Post by Moses_Yoder »

I started with the hickory cabinet center, then the cherry shelves on the left, this walnut tool box finishes the trifecta of woods I love. While I was at it I made two small jewelry boxes to give to a couple women I work with.

That tool box looks nice . Does the top a tray that lifts off and reveals another tray or is there a drawer ?

Beautiful work! I like the "Coleman Blue" felt in the small boxes!

Can we get a shot of the tool box open?

Wowie! All them units are pretty slick! Must’ve taken a long time and very much skill. Nice!

Superb work, Mose; I'm also fond of walnut, and wish I had just half that kind of skill.

I work at Omega National Products in Elkhart IN. We build kitchen accessories for companies worldwide but mostly USA, the range hoods from my department are mostly sold by Lowes, Menards, etc. but they are high end add-ons for kitchens. The employees are allowed to use the shop during off hours. I worked on these about 10-15 minutes every morning before starting work and 10-15 minutes into my half hour lunch, still giving me some time to vape.

Nice work Moses. Nice touch with the butterflies in the corners! Those three wood types are beautiful when they have a good finish on them.

That's a great perk, Moses. Sounds like a good policy. We had a well-equipped machine shop where I worked, but we had to sneak in on weekends and holidays for personal use.
