Picker buddy has my number

#1

Post by egroscup »

We had a small engine show get together bash last month at my picker friends place. While able to resist bringing home any newly purchased engines, he had a nice prewar suitcase stove in the sale section. Only problem was that you had to take the 425B in the box and the 413F in the remains of a box with it. I really didn't need 3 more stoves but the 425 looks ready to fuel and go, the 413 has fuel and it might get used to boil up some hard boiled eggs this afternoon. E.

That's a cool one. I don't drag stoves home anymore but I would have that one.

Nice trio! Just a guess-412B?

Need better pics of the tank to narrow it down, thanks to the handy dandy stove field guide. http://intlccc.net/information/camp-sto ... d-guide-2/

Careful what you wish for. just took delivery of three more engines that were going to have the good bits stripped off and then scrapped. I couldn't let that happen so now I am the proud owner of a 4Hp Cushman Cub that should run with nothing more than fresh fuel, another Cushman mostly there Cub carcass and a Sattley open crank throttler minus a rod cap. If he would only come up with a truckload of spare time... E.
