700 miles a week can rack up the miles...
question if I may: no problems with the Sonata engine? mine has less than 80k and uses a quart of oil every 1600 miles dealer says its normal does your Sonata use oil? trying to figure out if they're feeding me a load of bull, thx!

'85 Vanagon had 220K on the clock when the odo broke. That was about twenty years ago and one engine swap ago.

my sisters 2002 regal has over 400,000 on it but i did have to replace the 4th gear on it around the 300,000 thousand mark. the rest are just babies. my 2002 regal gs, 260.000, the red 1999 regal, 182.000 my moms 2009 lacrossse, 132.000, my dads 2000 regal, 75.000, and my 2000 bonneville, 183.000. the .000 on them all is due to my laziness of not going out and getting the exact numbers on these but the first number is accurate. my biggest problem with these now is fighting the rust that is slowly taking them from me. i tell everyone that you will see me with just a steering wheel, four wheels and the seats before i get rid of them.

love seeing these Focus' with the high miles. gives me hope

2013 Focus - 117777 as of yesterday morning
2001 Expedeition 4x4 217,000 (ex rental car i got @ 30k miles)

WIfe's car 2012 Range Rover Evoque 68,000 (car needs to go it's dying a slow expensive death)

pre covid averaged about 15k/ year 44 miles a day to/from work and then multiple recreational trips to Vegas/ Owens valley. Worked from home the last year, killed the Vegas trips and increased the OV Trips.

will likely trade in the focus end of the year or so and get the new Bronco. Probably won't be able to give up the Expedition as I LOVE that car.
