Rainy day finds
Its been rainy and overcast in Southern Michigan today, took a friend to the local antique malls. I have never seen those little red lanterns let alone finding two of them!
Thank you for your support!
The 200a's are 10/67, $35, 3/61, $30 and the AIDA was$49. Any info on the AIDA would be greatly appreciated. It is complete and had way too many gadgets to leave behind.Thank you for your support!

Re: Rainy day finds
Great finds. 200a’s are my favorite. Easy to work on and easy to look at and you can put so many more on a shelf with their smaller size. Ten years ago they were common around here for five or ten bucks. Not that way much any more. First one l found was a burg but I didn’t know it. Even thought about getting rid of it because it was dull looking compared to the reds. Thank goodness I found this forum and learned it was kinda rare.

Here is everything you need to know on the Aida. It is a clone of the Petromax lantern made for export by the same company. I've gone through three of them now and they are great lanterns.

Those are nice finds! The Aida is a Petromax clone. There are a number of threads on them here. They burn kerosene only and are quite different from Coleman's. Lots of fun.

Love the 200a. Yours look great and well bought. All I ever see around here are beaters for twice what you paid.

I have your download Erwin, very well written. I have an older genuine Petromax 829 Super, just got to get brave enough and go thru it.Erwin wrote: ↑Tue Apr 06, 2021 8:49 am If you want to have the Petromax instructions as a complete PDF file download it from here:

Re: Rainy day finds
Nice finds! Your rainy day turned out nice and bright.
When you see 'Petromax clone' on the forum, they're generally not held in high regard due to low quality. However, the ones held in disdain are the Chinese ones. Aida is NOT in that category and enjoys a good reputation.
Grab that pdf in the link Erwin posted!
