I’m not a facebooker but this is what my sister told me, then verified by my wife. I’ll let someone else post the link.

That is really the end of an era. Coleman getting out of retailing and now just wholesaling.

I wonder if other factory outlets will be affected. We have the Lancaster PA store visit the Gettysburg gathering every year.

I imagine if they are closing the Wichita store, they will probably close them all soon. Sounds like retail stores might not be part of their future business plans.

Geeze, some of you folks are doom and gloom. The outlet stores aren't Coleman's only sales. They seem to be dropping stores that can't afford to support themselves. I suspect some of these stores do very well during the summer, but are barely are able to eek by throughout the winter. I 'heard' that the Lake George store just closed because of the rent being too high and there's not exactly a lot of vacant space in that area to negotiate better rents. Some outlet stores may be closing, but Coleman isn't going away.

Not sure what their "business" plan may be for the future but - ours in Michigan closed this past year too.

i imagine covid last year was a huge blow to them. And If i am honest the only coleman product that interest me are GPAs and I have never bought a new one. I would buy a new 639 or northstar dual fuel if i had the chance but that hasnt happened yet.
