New to me Lind-o- lite 310a

#1

Post by mksmth »

This showed up today. I assume it's the 330A but have no experience with these and that's what it was sold as. Everything seems to work like it should. Didn't even have to oil the pump. I'll give it a good cleaning and that's about all I hope it needs. Finding just the right shade will be tricky. I think they had a cream/custard colored glass shade. If anyone has an idea what shade would be best let me know.

Edit. pretty sure It's a 310A

A correct shade for that is not hard to find and typically unidentified as a GPA shade. If you do eBay I’ll try to send links to you as they come up.

Thanks Kevin that would be great! I got it on Ebay so that works. I figured stark white one probably wouldnt look the best.

The bonus is I’m pretty sure they are uranium glass. Only problem is if I am looking for glass for you I tend to buy more for me, but I already have one of these.

Thank you!

It might be tomorrow or a month from now but I will find you some to consider.
Actually one of my “guys” found one a couple of years ago NIB. Complete lamp n shade packed in wood chips! That one is NFS and box/crate and wood chips are long gone.

🤦‍♀️

Cool piece Mike! I find these cool looking. A custard shade would set it off nicely 👍

For the time being I wouldn’t be painting that. I believe I’ve seen silver before?

Interesting. I wouldn't think paint would have washed off that easily. So maybe it is silver

After looking at 30,000 shades, yes I’m betting that was silver to begin with!

Little more cleaning. It's definitely silver. Can we say it's a 310A?

This one was almost too easy. All I had to do was clean it, put in fuel and let it rip. Now I just need to find a shade that looks right.
