Could make a good lantern storage box.
The Squirrels are up to something....

If you need a Sun Flame Generator Model 100-107 ( for Sunflame lanterns models 105, 106, 107 and 110) give me a PM, I have close to 80 of those, 15 bucks each.

I worked with a guy that put one on end in his dorm room and used it for a comical/spooky phone booth.

The police weren't laughing when they found out where and how he came by it.

I think there are cases where they put the body in a casket like this to display for viewing and funeral and then cremate afterwards. There are a number of things that little boys think are funny and they never outgrow them, a couple of them being farts and caskets.

My recently retired funeral director brother was telling me they do rent out caskets for viewings, then person gets cremated.....the rental caskets are built specifically for that purpose & have single use removable interiors.....he also has told me stories about families fabricating their own caskets, handles failing, bottoms coming out of them, to wide to fit burial vault.....he always stressed when a family wanted to go that way to do their homework during construction of casket

I just took one just like that to the dump. I used it for Halloween and it was finally getting to weathered and frail to keep using. Since I’m moving (still) I’m trying to reduce my load of stuff , I filled it with odd body parts that I had laying around for projects. You should have seen the guys at the dump. Lol haven’t had that good of a laugh in awhile.

My brother's friends acquired one in their last years of High School, back in the late 60's. One of my brother's friends fist car was a used Hearse... my brother would lie in the casket in the back of the Hearse and rise up while stopped at red lights. Of course everyone around was staring at the hippies in a hearse with purple fringe hanging from the top of the windshield etc. ..... Then it was used on our front porch in Annapolis on Halloween
and my brother dressed me up like a vampire and put powder and drew wrinkles on my face. Scared the living you know what out of a lot of people! One girl actually leaped down the 5 stairs leading to the sidewalk without touching a step... They finally used it in their high school Homecoming football game. They draped a sheet with the name of the opposing team and watched it burn as they tossed it on the the bonfire. I hated to see it go... I hate wasting anything useful....

Things Getting a Little Weird

A Hearse has other uses, always thought hippies were strange for favoring them. But, it turns out a band on a shoestring budget they work well, the floor height and cargo capacity is excellent for loading and unloading electric guitar amplifiers and drum kits and such.

That is exactly what they used it for… my brother was/is a percussionist…

Moses, I was and still am on a lesser scale into making animated Halloween props. I belong to several groups that get together once a month to build props. One of which has several Disneyland and Hollywood prop makers in it. A lot of the stuff you see for sale in Home Depot and such places were designs borrowed from guys I know. But Halloween prop builders are funny in that we don’t jealously guard our designs instead we readily post Diy videos and share. We just wish the company’s that use the ideas would give credit to the designers. So the body parts mentioned before are fake parts that get accumulated just in case you need them for a project.
