Just to let you guys know, found a 530 stove nearby, went on a field trip and got it home safely.

Will need a bath, and some TLC to make it roar again.

The Squirrels are up to something....

If you need a Sun Flame Generator Model 100-107 ( for Sunflame lanterns models 105, 106, 107 and 110) give me a PM, I have close to 80 of those, 15 bucks each.

Got to work on the 530, fount was a mess of dried up fuel and varnish, soaked in carb cleaner, turned out ok, filter screen was packed so solid that looked like it was graphite, so new mesh, pricker was broken, new pricker, fuel cap gasket was dust, cleaned and replaced with new gasket, lubed leather cup and gave it a try, lots of air, very little fuel, found out internal fuel pickup tube was loose, will resolder it on the weekend, this one had a hard life.

So far it looks like is going to be a user again.

Dang, sounds like a good workout, Werner. Getting some fire out of this one will be rewarding. Keep at it!

Great find, Werner, complete with "character." Looking forward to seeing it with flames (and at the right place, too! :) )

After I get it running, I will experiment with an old NOS primus silent burner, that burner simmers like a dream.

The saga continues, repaired the fuel pickup, but will have to clean the valve again, keeps plugging the jet, had a promising start, followed by a fizzle...first GPA that makes me work for the money.

It will definitely be for filling when it’s done, Werner. That is a nice piece.
