I'm told not many known to exist (possibly single digits). Who can confirm?

Definitely not many in the original torch burner configuration. I have one that has been converted to the later Q burner. Do you have any pictures?

Likely a similar small number have been found as the “Quick-Lite” GQ327 (6”steel)
and FQ327 (7”steel).
Examples have been found with components dating 1917-1920.
Coleman catalog statement some years later.

Here are my three GQ327.

I have one unconverted GS323 here. Got it from another member here.
Another super rare one is the Sunshine Safety NL323. I think there is only 3 known to exist. Have one of those here too.

So let me ask... since this is my first torch-lite. What would be the correct mica, I see the samples above have the reflector panel and the mouse hole lighting door. Would this be correct or just a full-panel mica on all segments?

The number designation says it all, no. 323 is the mica designation. The 323 mica for the GS had the increased height of 5 1/4” height X 5” diameter.
Thee earlier NL 323 dimensions were 5” X 5”.
The no. 327 mica had the reflector.

As has been evidenced that we never say never with Coleman, bleed over with components (overlap) new technologies mixed with older for a time , your vent shows the three tabs signaling it likely came from Coleman with the earlier no. 323 5” X 5”.
