I've been a wrench for a loooog time. No telling how many of those I've purchased. When I was still full time automotive I bought 5 at a time. And I'm fanatical about my tools.

I forgot to update this project the other day... New engine ran great. Customer wants some front end work done next week.... Guys spending a fortune on this old truck, but much cheaper than replacing it I suppose.... Just glad to have 10mm socket back Ken!!

Salvaged some fence posts and had a beautiful locally made "folk style" flag that our neighbor gave us so... with a recently bought arbor saw that as an unknown bonus had an unused dado throat and set of blades in the storage cabinet...i did a dado for the flag to slide in the reclaimed fence post for a frame that I'm going to make a gun rack.

I am just cleaning out my garage. I am considering the use of explosives! Possibly a shaped charge so that way it all goes out the door.

I worked on my new to me Arctic Cat buggy. I converted from the little tiny battery that would not stay charged up after 10 days of sitting to an Optima red top. At least it will start now when I want it to!

Re: What did you do in your shop today?
Here's what I've done here at the shop the last couple of months the biggest job was the 624 loader split cause of the abrasive freeze the customer used on the center bearing. And just completed a boom removal and hose replacement on a skytrack telehandler sorry no pictures of that

Re: What did you do in your shop today?
How similar is that to the 621's? Back in late 90's our 621 would blow fork rams but we probably abused them
Re: What did you do in your shop today?
It's a little smaller and less horsepower so I'm told we had a 621 till the front diff grenaded sent it to the auctions never to be seen by me again that damn loader was a pain in my butt I hated the peice of junk feel bad for the person who grabbed it at the auction cause the just bought a huge headache the deeres we have now are pretty good and hold up much better especially when you take impeccable care of them and use non abrasive grease

I ran two 242’s, a LZ327, a completely original patina 327, a 9-60 birthday lantern, my favorite 220E, my 234 and a cobbled up CQ with a wooden handle. Gassed most of them up, while checking camping gear in preparation for the SE Spring Gathering in Hartford, TN next week.

Re: What did you do in your shop today?
Those all look great!
FG - Suggestion on the reflector? use a file and radius off the 4 sharp corners? These are just asking to be snagged on something which could lead to damage both ways.

What I should have done is finish my 502 my Dad bought me. It's been apart for 10 years waiting to be cleaned up and reassembled. What I did do was bought this bow saw and cleaned it up and found a place on my shed wall for it.
This is what I bought.
This is how it ended up.

Well that looks like they didn't intend to to change oil pans often when they designed those trucks.
Could have used that cat walk that clips to the front tow hooks last week when I did tha water pump on mine.

Nothing, it appears I may have a herniated disc. Just stinks, I do not like being immobilized and after losing my life savings in 2007 I've pretty much accepted I cannot retire. But even if I could I'd still be active but not as a requirement to pay the bills.

Re: What did you do in your shop today?
My Deluxe Parlor lamp needed a temporary home, and I spotted a nice Consolidated Kerosene lamp base on Ebay. It was 2" too short inside.
After an early morning slice and tack job and a new shorter stud to attach top and bottom, it now has a safe home while I search for the correct vase and shade.
Biggest thing I have to remember now is that when you grab the handle, the vase stays put and the insert lifts out.
